AquaFest 2014

The Dana Point Aquatic Foundation and Westwind Sailing are hosting an Open House on Saturday, May 17th to showcase the public access boating and recreational programming offered at the OC Sailing & Events Center. May 17 is also the kick off of National Safe Boating Week and "Ready, Set, Wear It!" Come down and help us set an international world record for the most lifejackets worn in a single day. The Center hosts lots of great programs and activities for the whole family. Check us out on May 17!

Schedule of AquaFest activities (subject to change):

Information Booth: 8:30 am - 4 pm (Dana Point Aquatic Foundation). goody bags, schedule of events, free food tickets, free lifejackets.

Adaptive Boating event with SOAR: 9 am - 12 noon

OC Sail Program booths to showcase activities: 10 am - 4 pm (Westwind, Sea Scouts, Saddleback College, Dana Outriggers, SOAR, Paddle Academy, I Heart Yoga in the Park)

Free Food: 10:30 am - 4 pm. (Dana Point Aquatic Foundation)

Ready Set Wear It - world record lifejackets 12:15 - 1:15 pm

Westwind Sailing: free sailing rides, sup and kayak clinics 10 am - 4 pm

Sea Scouts: youth practice for competition (all day)

SUPIA Youth StandUP Paddle Days 10 am - 4 pm

Donation of Onit Ability Board to DPAF from Doheney Longboard Association : 1:15 - 1:30 pm

Free Lifejackets to the first 50 attendees who take the Lifejacket Pledge.
